La ficción española se cuela a lo grande en las nominaciones de los principales premios LGTBI americanos

Veneno y Luimelia, de Atresplayer Premium, y Élite y Alguien tiene que morir, de Netflix, conforman la representación española en las nominaciones de la 32ª edición de los Premios de la Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), informa Variety.

Las cuatro ficciones competirán contra la comedia mexicana Ana en la categoría de Mejor serie de televisión de habla hispana. Esta es una de las cuatro categorías dedicadas a proyectos televisivos y periodísticos en español que incluyen estos galardones, en cuyos apartados televisivos generales se incluyen otras series como Sex Education, Big Mouth, Disclosure, Podría destruirte, Schitt's Creek o el revival de Salvados por la campana de Peacock.

Incluyendo las nominaciones en categorías cinematográficas, Netflix se coloca en cabeza con 26 nominaciones de las 58 totales que se llevan las plataformas de streaming. Las servicios de cable se llevan otras 29 y las cadenas generalistas, 14.

GLAAD ha añadido dos nuevas categorías, que recogen a artistas musicales revelación y a los programas infantiles con representación LGTBQ.
